USASA Event Sunday!

Been working hard today to perfect the course for USASA tomorrow. Needless to say Butterscotch will be closed Sunday for USASA. Sorry to all our other guests, but good luck to all our skiers and riders tomorrow!

Check out our Video Park Run

Make sure to check out the Nick and Nick show testing out the GoPro for the first time. More webisodes and clips to follow.

Welcome back . . .

The Butterscotch park will finally and officially open tomorrow morning after maintenance. The opening is a day later than we hoped, and there are still three features missing, but we made sure everything is, what Wilkins would call, "money". Hopefully the inches of snow won't ruin the speed for tomorrow.

Night Riders 2011

Skiers and riders compete under the lights in the Bolton Valley terrain parks for prizes every Wednesday night. The event set-up changes each week to keep things fresh--sometimes it's a rail jam, sometimes it's a full slopestyle, or it can be anything in between. Come to every event and collect points for bigger prizes to be given away on the final night of the series. Sponsors: Burton, Coal, Darn Tough, Line, Maven, Meat Head Films, Nordica, ProTec, Sam Cohn Foundation, Ski the East, Talent Skate Park, Unknown Arts, and Vans.

Attention, attention

Attention, attention! The Jungle Jib will be closed tomorrow due to snowmaking. You have been forewarned

Snowmaking Commences!

Yeah snowmaking! Fix that Butterscotch up.

Mother Nature Why Are You So Cruel

Warm weather and rain have caused us some problems. Unfortunately, the Jungle Jib is closed. There are a few bare spots and a river exposing itself in the gate entrance. Snowmakers plan on returning to the Jungle Jib and on Beech Seal in the upcoming weeks, since the pump died while they were in the midst of blowing, and both trails need snow desperately.

Good news for the Butterscotch Park and Progression Park. Starting mid-week, we will be turning on the fan guns and pounding the two parks with snow. Our hope is to have both parks open by January 15th. Meanwhile, we will do our best to keep the Jungle Jib alive. So long January thaw, and don't come back now, ya hear!
