The Jungle Jib park is back in action!

We are so stoked with how the Jungle turned out. Plenty of lines for all freestyle abilities. Come shred with us!

Terrain Park Update

Hey Shredders,

Jumps have finally arrived at Bolton Valley. Last Wednesday we finished building the terrain park skiers left of the Butterscotch park. It's a three hit slopestyle course and it flows perfectly. Here is an edit of shredders Gabe Cohn and Jeremy Hulsey taking laps through the new park.

We built the new park to host a mock winter Olympics group slopestyle event as part of our Wednesday Night Rider Series. 57 skiers and riders came out to compete under the lights and it could not have been more fun. Here is a photo of our winners!

The Madagascan Penguins took gold. The Jamaican Lions took silver, and the Zimbabweans took bronze.

The next night rider event will be on Wednesday, February 12th. For more information join our Facebook group Shred Bolton and see the Night Rider Event page.

Looking forward, we will be building a new terrain park in The Jungle sometime this week. If you have any suggestions for features, please send us a message on Shred Bolton.

In the meantime come enjoy the new park and come learn some new tricks with us.

Sincerely,

Park Crew

Bolton Valley Does Sochi

Night Riders Mystery Event:

Bolton Valley is hosting a mock Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics on Jan 29th. Skiers and riders will assemble in teams of three to represent their flag in the group slopestyle event. The slopestyle course will be located skiers left of the Butterscotch park

Age and gender groups are out this week. Each team will be judged on their unity, creativity, and ability. Skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to team up, but this is not mandatory. Mixing gender and age category within your group is also encouraged.

Night rider points will be allocated to the group winners. I.E. each member of the first place team will receive 5 points within their age category towards night rider finals.

Countries are appointed on a first come first serve basis. Have your team captain message Shred Bolton to secure your flag. If you cannot create a team by the 29th we will organize you into groups before the event.

Join the event at http://bit.ly/BVWNRS

For those of you who reserve a flag ahead of time, dressing to represent your country will earn you some love from the judges. (please be respectful in how you portray the country you choose)

The team challenge is a long standing tradition at Bolton Valley. Creativity and group unity stand above all else. Do you have what it takes to be an Olympian?
