Welcome back . . .
The Butterscotch park will finally and officially open tomorrow morning after maintenance. The opening is a day later than we hoped, and there are still three features missing, but we made sure everything is, what Wilkins would call, "money". Hopefully the inches of snow won't ruin the speed for tomorrow.
Thanks for all the hard work, I saw you all cranking on Friday night, and then to have the park open with so much fresh snow must have been frustrating. I didn't get to ski Butterscotch much because of the freshies, but I saw some things I really liked. Having the step down so close to the next jump is really sweet, much more challenging and it teaches consistency. Finishing with the disaster/f-d rail option also makes for an awesome slopestyle run - very cool. I also like the up box - butter pad - d-f-d box combo, it is something different and unique and with some creativity so cool stuff can happen there. Can't wait for some park skiing conditions. See you Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteI think the landing to the his and the her need to be steeper for a smoother landing.
ReplyDeletespine would be awesome where that strange box gap to downflatdown is. Good work on setting things up the past week or so.
